Party Games

Anyone enjoy party games? Stuff like Super Mario Party, or newer stuff like Jackbox Party pack. I'm starting to play more jackbox games, and with a group of people, they're super fun.

I tried Mario party once, but it really wasn't my thing. Video board games feel odd to me for some reason.

I drink and do both Mario Party on Switch and on my game nights, my game group does Jackbox through steam right now. The other one I play often isnt a video game, its a card game called Red Dragon Inn. Basically the premise of that game is your hanging out with your D and D party at a bar called red dragon inn, with out getting too in to detail, its a last man standing game. Your character drinks and gambles through out the game. If your character gets too drunk and passes out at the bar, you're kut of the game. You also lose if your character runs out of gold. A very fun, differnt kind of game to play.

Oh yeah, bro, Red Dragon in is a real blast. I wish we got to play it while we were at the cabin but ah well.

My friend has alk the sets theyve releaced so far. The added mechanics make the game more fun, set 4 is a pirate set, gives you the option to play on a pirate ship, adds a sea deck in the middle and when its time to flip a card on the sea deck, the effects, effect everybody. Simular mechanic with set 6 the villian set where you can play in the dungeon, same set up as sea events except dungeon event. Or yoy can set up where a teleportaion spell has gone arwry, and your transported between the sea and dungeon. Added mechanics add more ways to play, and add differnt levels of challenge.

Oh dude, that pirate mechanic sounds great. I should get you a copy of that if you don't have it already.

I only have sets 1 and 2 AKA the base set. Set 3 introduces differnt character mechanics, set 4 introduces a new location. Set 5 comes with a box big enough to store all the sets and then some more space for future sets. Set 6 introduces the Dungeon, Set 7 allows you to play as Red Dragon Inn Staff

I just watched a stream of tabletop simulator and that looks like a ton of fun. I don't own it, but it has a ton of party games/board games, etc. Really thinking of buying it.

Tabletop simulator is actually really fun. I used it to play d&d and magic the gathering!
