Ah man, Toy Story. I remember when I first saw the movie as a kid. How mesmerized I must have been watching it. Seeing CGI looking so good the first time. Yeah it hasn't aged super well, but it's still quite good and still one of my favorite movies as a kid. Plus, the sequels were as good, if not better in some regards.

I wonder if we'll ever see remastered versions of original CGI movies. Just look at the difference in quality from the most recent one. They do it for video games, and I can see them eventually trying it with older films that utilized CGI.

A classic, and still looks good to this day. The toys still look great, but I do agree the human characters and that dog looked awful. But for the time it was revolutionary. Now days everything looks nearly realistic.

That's my absolute favorite movie. I still remember seeing it in the theater when I was like 5. One of my most cherished memories.

This movie gave us Pixar! Took animation out of fairy tales world! And we all know what followed!

Pixar makes quality movies. I remember Toy Story and the first time I watched it. I went to a friends b-day party and we later went out to the movies. I had no idea Toy Story was a thing at the time, and had no idea what it was. When we went into the theater, I didn't know what to expect, but when I saw the movie play, I was blown away. I never saw anything quite like it at the time and yeah, it blew me away.

I haven't had that feeling with a movie ever since though. A really cool feeling too.

Yes, What Lucas Films did with CGI, Pixar did with animation. Pixar revolutionized an entire space.

Up until Cars which I feel is the worst series they made.. everything else is good though.

Yes, One of the rarity. I am surprised when even first sequel of anything is good enough. Here we are still going strong with four parts. May be magic of Pixar!
