What ya gonna do if covid sticks around longer?

I've heard multiple reports of young people getting covid though. Hell, most of the people that didn't give a care about it, ended up getting it. Like the dude-bro in Florida who wanted to go on spring break instead of staying in. He ended up getting it. Covid-19 is very easy to catch, that's why lockdowns happened.
I've even heard of young, healthy doctors passing from covid-19. It's not just a couple youngins here and there, it's a lot more than just a couple.
The whole point of the lockdown, was to protect people, and who needs the most protection right now? The elderly. A lot of elderly people have died, so we should lift the lockdowns because it's just elderly people dying? That's what it sounds like to me.
That's why we should keep the lockdown going, because it's such a high risk for the elderly, and we got idiots like dude bro from Florida acting like they're untouchable. My whole point is this, you're putting other people at risk when going out, even if you don't have it.
At the very least, wear a damn mask if you go anywhere.

Yeah I don't know what to believe these days. Just everything is all out of wack and no one is making much sense of things. I'm still going out, but I wear a mask whenever I go to the store or anywhere public. I have been trying to get into the habit of wearing gloves as well. I think all of that is mostly done to protect others and not yourself.
Anyway, I'm just waiting for that next stimulus check to roll in.

A lot of places are still shut down where I live. Movie theaters are still closed and some restaurant dining areas still remain closed. But their drive thru is operational. Even some of the small business stores are still shut down. I'm kind of afraid to go to the other larger towns because I don't want to waste gas and get up there and everything be closed up. I'm not afraid of it anymore. I'm passed all of that, I'm ready to move on. You know what I mean?
Probably will be on-going for about another year. I can't see it getting much further then that though if even that. The vaccine is almost ready though I'll be damned if I take it. Not taking any vaccine but that will help get it under control. They do have a drug that treats it that actually isn't the best or anything but helps a little bit.
